What does each action cost in tokens?
A scan costs 50 tokens, an AEO article 100, an interactive tool 400, and an llms.txt file 100. The free public scan costs nothing and needs no account.
The full price list is four lines. Scan: 50 tokens, whether you run it manually or your plan runs it automatically on schedule. AEO article: 100 tokens, generated and deployed. Interactive tool: 400 tokens, the premium asset, priced for what it is: a working calculator, comparison, or finder built for your site. llms.txt: 100 tokens, generated and deployed to your domain root.
The one permanent exception: the free scan on the public site costs nothing, needs no account, and always will. Token costs begin inside the dashboard.
What a month looks like in practice. On Signal (1,400 tokens), weekly automatic re-scans cost 200, leaving 1,200: enough for a steady twelve articles a month, or two interactive tools with four articles alongside. On Scale (3,000 tokens), daily re-scans cost about 1,500 a month, leaving roughly 1,500 for deployment: a couple of tools plus a stream of articles, every month.
Two costs that do not exist: reviewing and editing content before it publishes is free, and re-running a failed action is not charged twice; you pay when the action completes. If your plans outgrow the allowance, top-up packs fill the gap without a tier change.
Costs are flat and predictable: no per-word pricing, no surge, no variation by engine count. The four prices above are the entire model.
