How do I set up my brand profile?
Open Settings, choose Brand Profile, and confirm your website URL, brand name, industry, and competitors. Citably uses this profile to generate your buyer prompts and to write deployed content in your voice.
The brand profile is the input for almost everything Citably does. Prompt generation reads it to phrase buyer questions correctly, the Competitors tab tracks the rivals you list, and deployed content is written against it. Five minutes here improves every scan after it.
Open Settings, then Brand Profile.
Confirm your website URL and brand name are exactly right. The crawler starts from this URL.
Set your industry so prompts are phrased the way your buyers actually ask.
Add your main competitors. These appear in the Competitors tab and in comparison prompts.
Set your brand voice so deployed articles and tools sound like you.
Save, then run a fresh scan so the changes flow into your tracked prompts.
Revisit the profile whenever something meaningful changes: a rebrand, a new product line, or a new competitor worth watching. Edits apply from your next scan onward; historical results are never rewritten.
Two details deserve extra care here. The URL should be the exact domain your buyers land on, with no redirect in between, so the crawler reads the real site. And the competitor list works best at three to five entries: the rivals you genuinely lose deals to, not every name that shares your category.
