Does Citably work with Wix?
Yes, with a copy and download workflow today: Citably generates the content and you paste it into Wix, using the embed HTML element for tools. Direct publishing to Wix is coming soon.
As with every platform, the scanning side needs nothing from your CMS: Citably reads the AI engines, so your visibility data, receipts, and competitor tracking work for a Wix site exactly as they do for anyone else. The manual step is publishing, and it is a short one.
Articles: copy the generated content from Citably and paste it into a new Wix blog post or page. The structure carries over through the editor. Tools: add an Embed HTML element (Add, then Embed code) where the tool should sit and paste the snippet; give it a full-width section so the tool sizes itself comfortably.
llms.txt: Wix constrains root-level files, so serving yourdomain.com/llms.txt depends on your plan’s redirect and routing options. Download the generated file and, if your setup will not serve it at the root, support can suggest the current workaround for Wix specifically.
Direct Wix publishing is coming soon, which will replace the paste with the same review-then-publish flow WordPress users have. The honest summary today: yes for everything that matters, with about a minute of manual publishing per asset. See also Can I use Citably without a CMS connection.
After pasting, publish the Wix site and load the page in a private window to confirm the content is actually live; engines can only read what your domain serves.
