How do I update my brand information?
Open Settings, choose Brand Profile, and edit your URL, name, industry, competitors, or brand voice. Changes flow into your next scan and into any content you deploy afterwards.
Your brand profile is a living input, not a setup form you fill once. Prompts are generated from it, the Competitors tab tracks the rivals it lists, and deployed content is written against its voice settings, so keeping it current keeps everything downstream accurate.
Open Settings, then Brand Profile.
Edit what changed: website URL, brand name, industry, competitor list, or brand voice.
Save your changes.
Run a fresh scan so prompt generation and tracking reflect the update.
When to update: after a rebrand or domain change (immediately, since the crawler starts from your URL), when a new competitor becomes worth watching, when your offer shifts enough that the old prompts miss it, and whenever deployed drafts keep needing the same voice corrections, which is the sign your voice settings need sharpening rather than your edits.
Changes are forward-only: history is never rewritten, so your old scans remain an honest record of what was true then. Expect a visible shift in newly generated prompts after a big profile change; that is the update working, not a glitch. If the change is substantial, treat the next scan as a fresh baseline.
One habit worth keeping: after any meaningful edit, glance at the newly generated prompts and confirm they read like questions your buyers would actually ask. That check catches a mis-set industry faster than anything else.
