How do I change my plan?

Last updated: July 4, 2026Managing Your Account
Quick answer

Open Settings, choose Billing, and pick your new plan. Upgrades apply immediately and your token allowance updates with the plan; downgrades take effect at your next billing date.

1

Open Settings, then Billing.

2

Click Change plan.

3

Choose the plan and the billing period, monthly or yearly.

4

Confirm. The change and its timing are shown before you commit.

Moving between Signal and Scale changes three things at once: engine coverage (Signal scans ChatGPT and Gemini, Scale scans all four), scan cadence (weekly versus daily automatic re-scans), and your monthly token allowance. Scale also adds seats and instant indexing, with Boost rolling out next. The full side-by-side lives in What is the difference between Signal and Scale.

Timing follows the standard pattern: an upgrade takes effect immediately so the wider coverage and larger allowance are usable right away, while a downgrade schedules for your next billing date so you keep everything you paid for until then. Switching between monthly and yearly billing happens at the same Billing screen.

Your data is never touched by a plan change: scan history, tracked prompts, receipts, and deployed content all stay exactly as they are. If you are changing plans because of token needs specifically, check top-up packs first; sometimes a top-up fits better than a tier change.

Seats follow the plan too: moving up to Scale opens the extra seats immediately, and moving down to Signal returns the account to a single seat when the change takes effect.
