How do I share my scan results?
Open your scan results and use the Share option to copy a link or export the report. The person you send it to can view the results without a Citably account.
Open the scan you want to share, either from the free scan results screen or from your dashboard scan history.
Click Share on the results view.
Copy the share link to send the live results, or export the report if you prefer a file.
Send it on. Viewing does not require a Citably account.
Sharing is most useful in two situations. Sharing a scan opens the conversation faster than a deck: the per-prompt view of “here is who ChatGPT recommends instead of you” is a stronger opener than any slide. Teams share scans internally to make the case for AEO work, since the receipts behind each result answer the “is this real” question before it gets asked.
A share shows the scan as it was captured: the score, the per-prompt cited status, and the recorded answers. It is a snapshot, so later scans do not rewrite what you already sent. Share a fresh scan when you want to show progress, and put the two side by side.
If you are sharing to prove movement over time, the cleaner tool is the dashboard itself: add teammates on a Scale plan and they can watch the same trend line directly.
For recurring reporting, pair the share link with the scan date so recipients always know which snapshot they are reading, and share a fresh scan alongside the old one when you want the improvement to speak for itself.
