My deployed content isn’t showing on my site
On WordPress, deployed content arrives as a draft by default: open Pages or Posts in wp-admin, find the draft, and publish it. If it is published but still invisible, clear your site cache.
The most common cause is not a bug at all: it is draft-by-default working as designed. Citably never publishes to your live site on its own, so every deployed article and tool page waits in WordPress as a draft until you publish it.
Open your WordPress admin and check Pages and Posts for a draft with the deployed title. Found it? Review and publish; that is the whole fix.
Already published but invisible? Purge your caches: caching plugin, host cache, and CDN. Then reload in a private window; you were almost certainly seeing a cached version of the site from before the page existed.
Check the URL you expect against the page’s actual slug in WordPress; a theme or plugin that rewrites permalinks can put the page somewhere slightly different.
For an embedded tool that shows as a blank space, the issue is the embed rather than the page: the tool display article has that checklist.
If no draft exists anywhere, the deployment likely never reached your site: verify your WordPress connection and redeploy.
Once the page is genuinely live, remember indexing is a separate step: engines need to read the page before it can win citations. On Scale, instant indexing handles that automatically at publish.
