Does Citably integrate with Google Search Console?
Yes. Connect Google Search Console and Citably submits every deployed asset to Google automatically the moment it publishes. Instant indexing is included with the Scale plan.
The Search Console connection has one big job: indexing authority. Google’s Indexing API only accepts submissions for properties you own, so connecting your Search Console property is what authorizes Citably to tell Google about your new pages on your behalf.
With it connected on a Scale plan, the flow is fully automatic: publish a deployed asset, and its URL goes to Google through the Search Console API and to Bing through IndexNow at the same moment. New pages get crawled in hours instead of waiting weeks for discovery, which matters because a deployed fix cannot win a citation until engines have read it. How does instant indexing work covers the mechanics.
The same connection powers manual re-indexing after you edit a deployed page, so updated answers reach the index quickly too.
Connecting takes one authorization: Settings, then Integrations, then Google, and pick your property; the combined walkthrough covers Search Console and GA4 in one pass, since a single Google authorization can grant both.
The scope is submit-and-verify only: Citably submits URLs for indexing against your property and never changes anything inside your Search Console account itself. Disconnecting is equally clean; revoke the access from either side and submissions simply stop, with no residue left behind.
