Does Citably work with Webflow?

Last updated: July 4, 2026Integrations
Quick answer

Yes, with a copy and download workflow today: Citably generates the content and you paste it into Webflow, where embed elements handle tools cleanly. Direct publishing to Webflow is coming soon.

Webflow users get the full measurement and generation pipeline: scans, receipts, competitor tracking, and content generation all work identically, because they read the AI engines rather than your CMS. The direct publish step is the part still marked coming soon.

The manual route is short. For an AEO article, copy the generated content and paste it into a new CMS item or static page in the Designer; Webflow’s rich text handles the structure. For an interactive tool, drop an Embed element where you want the tool and paste the snippet inside; Webflow’s embed element runs it as-is, which makes Webflow one of the cleanest platforms for tool deployment.

llms.txt on Webflow: the file belongs at your domain root, and on most Webflow plans a redirect rule or your hosting setup can serve it; download the generated file from Citably and place it with whichever mechanism your plan supports.

When the direct integration ships, connected Webflow sites will get the same draft-style review flow WordPress has today. Until then, the paste takes about a minute per asset.

A Webflow-specific tip: publish the site after pasting, since content saved in the Designer is not live until the site republishes, and engines can only cite what is actually served at your domain.
