Does Citably integrate with WordPress?
Yes. WordPress is Citably’s deepest integration: connect once with an application password and deployed AEO articles, tool pages, and llms.txt publish straight to your site, arriving as drafts by default.
The connection uses WordPress’s built-in application passwords, so Citably never holds your real login and you can revoke access from your WordPress profile at any time. Setup takes about two minutes; How do I connect my WordPress site has the step-by-step.
Once connected, the whole Deploy pipeline flows through: AEO articles land as WordPress drafts that inherit your theme, interactive tool pages arrive ready to publish, and your llms.txt deploys to the site root. Draft-by-default is the standing rule, so nothing appears on your live site until you publish it from wp-admin.
The integration plays well with the rest of the stack: on Scale plans, publishing a deployed draft triggers instant indexing so Google and Bing fetch the page within hours, and a connected GA4 property reports how each deployed page performs afterwards.
Works with standard WordPress installs, including most managed hosting. If your host runs an aggressive firewall that blocks REST API traffic, the connection can need a small allowance on their side; My WordPress connection failed covers the known cases and fixes.
The connection is per-site: if you run several WordPress properties for one brand, connect the primary domain your brand profile tracks, because that is where deployed answers earn citations for the prompts being measured.
